Issue/Question
What are some ways that BHSU supports sustainability on campus?
How can I learn more about the trees on our campus and their locations?
Resolution
We are proud to announce that Black Hills State University has been named a Tree Campus USA every year since 2016, including this year’s recognition on Arbor Day. This designation honors our ongoing commitment to campus forestry management and environmental stewardship.
Since 2016, BHSU has planted approximately 200 trees each year. These efforts support our goals in sustainability, education, and campus beautification.
