How do I request a state vehicle?

Environment

Cause

BHSU, through the State of South Dakota Fleet & Travel Management, maintains a fleet of approximately 30 vehicles for university use. The vehicles range from sedans to 12-passenger vans. 

Resolution

1. To schedule a state vehicle, complete the online Vehicle Request Form
   • Keys are available for pickup at the Facilities Services office prior to departure (Monday - Friday 7am-5pm)
      
2. According to the Fleet policies drivers are required to have the vehicles full of gas when they return it.

3. Student drivers are required to complete the Volunteer Agreement Form for insurance purposes to protect the driver.
