Software Assistance

Overview

The BHSU Help Desk provides support for purchasing, installation, and troubleshooting of supported software. To ensure consistency of support, Network Computer Services (NCS) will not provide support for software that is not on the standard support list; limited consultation may be available.

BHSU Help Desk provides the following support:

  • Installing or reinstalling a software
  • Troubleshooting and attempting to resolve application malfunctions
  • Providing basic guidance on functionality and features
  • Virus scanning and removal

  • Windows 10 or 11 Enterprise 64 bit
  • Acrobat Reader
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome
  • Office 365
  • Image Now/ Perspective Content
  • Win SCP
  • Cisco AnyConnect
  • Zoom

NCS Will Not Provide Support For:

  • Beta software applications
  • Open Source Software
  • Software not on the Standard Support list; although limited support and consultation may be available
  • Software installed on personally owned systems; however, consultation services are provided when possible
