How can a BHSU department or student org create and/or register their social media account?
Resolution
For BHSU Departments
- Email Marketing@BHSU.edu with:
- The department name
- The platforms you plan to use
- The Office of Marketing & Communications will provide guidance and help you choose the best platforms.
Once your account is created OR if you already have a department account, register your social media channels using the Social Media Registration Form.
For BHSU Student Organizations
Official student orgs (recognized by the Student Engagement & Leadership Center) can create social media accounts with:
- Advisor approval
- Advisor access to all accounts
Register your account using the Student Org Social Media Registration Form. Registered accounts will be linked on the Student Organizations page.
PLEASE NOTE: Student Org accounts are not considered Official BHSU Accounts but must still follow all applicable university and SDBOR policies.
