Faculty Senate is a BHSU organization of elected faculty members to represent all BHSU faculty on the BHSU campuses. Faculty Senate serves as the faculty's voice, attends to academic requirements and policies, advises leadership, and supports the welfare of the university community.
Faculty Senate is comprised of 10 faculty members, evenly distributed between colleges. To see the current year's members (and your School or College representative) please refer to this document.

Senate meetings are open to all members of the BHSU faculty. Other university personnel may participate in senate discussions upon recognition by, and notification to, the Senate President of their intent. Other non-university persons may address the Senate if a quorum of the senators vote to allow it.
