Note: to receive financial aid you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  1. View Financial Aid Self-Service to see if you have unmet requirements.
  2. Log into myBHSU Portal
  3. In the Quick Links section, click Financial Aid Self-Service (FA)
  4. Select the Black Hills State University as the campus
  5. Select Eligibility
  6. Select Aid Year
  7. If your FAFSA has been received, we have received your FAFSA will appear below the Student Requirements tab
  8. Unmet requirements will be listed under the Student requirements tab
