Rideshares/Taxi & Public Transportation & Car Rentals
Rideshares (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are permissible. Extras cannot be claimed without justification. Tips cannot be claimed. Claims must be by original receipts showing proof and method of payment with a breakdown of charges for each fare/trip that is used. If receipts are not available for public transportation , a copy of a credit card receipt showing the charge, indicating only invoice available is permissible. If a receipt is not available, individuals can claim up to $5.00.
Car Rentals are allowed with justification "cheaper than ubers", "transporting kids;, etc. "Extras" on car rentals cannot be claimed. Individuals must have original receipts.
Insurance for Car Rentals is allowable.
