Issue/Question
Accessing hourly time sheets and submitting hours for supervisor approval.
Environment
Cause
Hourly employee's submitting their hours worked every month.
Resolution
- Visit the BHSU Website.
- From the square matrix in the top right-hand corner of the webpage, select "MyBHSU/SNAP."
- Sign in using your @BHSU.edu or @yellowjackets.bhsu.edu email account credentials.
- Authenticate using Duo, if required.
- Select "SNAP" from the box titled "Single Sign On Applications."
- Click on "Employee" from the list of options on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Find the box titled "Time Reporting" and select the current month's time sheet.
- Pay periods run from the 22nd of the month to the 21st of the next month.
- Example: The "June" pay period will list the dates May 22, 20xx through June 21, 20xx.
- Students/Part-time/Non-Benefit Eligible employee's should only be adding time to "Hours Worked."
- Hourly full-time staff members should add hours to Hours Worked, Holiday, Administrative Leave, and Inconvenience Pay. Submit any other time through the Leave Request System.
- Salaried full-time staff and faculty members should add hours only to Administrative Leave. Holiday hours are added automatically by the system.
- Adding Hours:
- Click on the "Enter Hours" hyperlink below the date that you worked. An "Hours" box will populate above the time sheet where you can add the total hours you worked that day.
- Under "Total Hours," you will see your total hours for the pay period.
- Be sure to Save your hours before moving on.
- At the end of the pay period, you will need to submit your total hours worked. The due date for time sheet submission is typically 9:00 AM on the 22nd of the month.
- Click "Submit for Approval" - your supervisor's name should appear at the bottom of the screen if you have submitted the time sheet successfully. If the supervisor listed is not your supervisor, please reach out to Human Resources.
